What’s next?

In the April update we will discover one more dimension. I plan to make 4 dimensions in total btw. This dimension is represented by the huge castle, which will test our Barbarian and the ending depends on your choice (as it was in the last build).

All dimension tests are trials of Seven deadly Sins (Gluttony, Lust, Greed, Sloth, Wrath, Envy, Pride), which define us as people, you know.

For this time, there are less combats for Barbarian, I want to add more questable elements and world interactions to the game.

There are couple minor features which I’m planning to develop:

- First/3rd  person camera switch (it’s necessary for quest object searching)

- X-RAY

Hi there Guys! The new release is here!

Change Log

  • The appearance of dialogs is updated
  • Dialogues can be skipped with a mouse click or an action button on the gamepad
  • Added the image and name of the person who is speaking in the dialogs now. Let's say there are no annoying delays in dialogues.
  • Fixed bug with jumping camera in dungeons
  • Zeroing input, now after a few clicks and somersaults you do not need to wait until the character performs all the actions
  • Orcs the executioners do not get stuck on the stairs in the dungeon location
  • Closed holes in the walls in the dungeon levels (thanks for pointing this out)
  • Quest with Anorien’s Wife - she now does not cheat and does not cut the path through the bars
  • Enemies are less aggressive and will not pursue a character if he is too far away
  • Fixed a bug with instant counterattack (when the monster takes damage and immediately deals damage to the character)
  • The animation system has been redesigned. Now we use inverse kinematics to position the characters on stage more clearly. Now the genitals and stuff will not fall into the wrong places. Also, I’ve added the synchronization of the limbs with the parts of the body if they touch each other (there are no jumping hands).
  • The system of monsters sounds has been revised. Now it is a full-fledged 3d sound. Not all monsters are still have sounds and most of the sounds will be changed in the future. I'm still working on the voice acting, I want to achieve the effect of a full immersion.
  • The Barbarian model is redesigned, now she has functional holes for penetration. In the future, organs will be added for secondary female characters / monsters. I'm still testing this and will be working on it
  • Werewolf unit added. Do not try to escape from him if he noticed you.
  • Slave unit added.
  • Added location "The Stormwind Valley". This is the first location outside the dungeons. From here two cities and an input in mines (these places while in development) will be accessible
  • Added a change of day (depending on the time of the day will appear different monsters) So far, the change of the day works only through a "sleep"
  • Added Noria's Tavern location
  • In Noria's location, you can sleep (if you will be able), take a bath and get drunk (be careful)
  • In some sex scenes there is the ability to control the speed, this may depend on a number of game moments
  • Added a warning when you click on ESC, I know that many reflexively press this button, if suddenly they play not in the most intimate situation and then have to go through the level again.
  • Fixed bug with reset / save game data
  • Added a level title, when entering the location. So it will be easier to identify where you are.

I’m sorry for this delay. I know how you expect it, but unfortunately, I can not devote more time to the project than I have after my main job (sleep is for weaklings). I did a lot of work to optimize the project so that I do not have to deal with bad coding after adding new content. And this should speed up the release of new updates.

What about next release?

  • There will be new monsters and sex scenes, because this is a game about sex indeed.
  • The location of the Devenant will be available, and a couple of quests in it.
  • I want to focus on the narrative and more discover the Nul universe. Sex is good, but we all love the story in games, do not we?
  • The X-ray view will be added. This is a specific fetish, but many are interested in how it is inside :)
  • If I have time, I will add "liquid animations"
  • Journal will be added
  • Inventory
  • New weapons (and animations)
  • New clothes
  • Save points. Since I make souls like a game, how can we do without our bonfires.

Growth points

  • Fixing bugs, polishing and polishing again
  • Sounds
  • Correcting and adding new animations

For me, it is very important that the game worked smoothly, without glitches and created a feeling of complete immersion in the Nul universe. After all, the whole project is not only my small hobby but also a big challenge for me as a developer. Which I pass with your support. I'm grateful to you, for your feedback and bug reports. After all, not everything can be tracked independently.

It’s time for some news and updates!

I have a couple of important updates, so let’s take them by numbers:

1. Animations

I believe that animation is one of the bricks of a good gameplay. Especially for the adult games. I ran into the problem when in paired animations (well, you know what I mean), wrists and feet are not where it was originally intended.

For example, I want that during one of the Game Over animations - the orc’s hand laid on the belly of the character, but no matter how I tried, tracking each movement frame - the hand jumps or falls into the texture of the character anyway.

What have I done?

Unfortunately, I did not find the right component in the asset store and decided to write my own. I'm a programmer indeed. I used the technology of inverse kinematics, which allows tying wrists and feet to markers. Markers can act as bones of another character, and static coordinates in the game.

What does it mean for you and me?

For you – more realistic animations

For me - simplification and acceleration of development. And as a consequence more frequent releases.

2. Anatomical features

I think many of you have noticed that the barbarian is absolutely flat between her legs.

And I understand that it looks pretty bad when genitals of the active character are falling into the plane…mmm… field and it does not cause a full sense of what is happening on stage.

The barbarian now has the right holes for your comfort ;)

3. Dialogs

Hell, I read in more than one hundred reviews that the dialogues in the game are made inconvenient. And I was convinced of this myself, after playing a release in a week, when I was able to look at my product from another angle. The new release will include dialogs without a rigid binding to the timer, with the ability to skip them on the click and, of course, multi-selection.

Of course, these are all not final touches and much more will be added in the future.

So the Demon Release.
As promised, the animated scenes are included in the Gallery.

Honestly, rendering and animation are new to me. But like the development of games – it's all new to me.
Over the past few weeks, I've learned a lot. After all, the way of indie is not only to be a designer, a developer, a tester, a designer, etc. It also means constant learning. Thanks to you, my community and the collective mind of testers and inventors, who writes me bugs and wishes.

I had a dream today, in which I speak with the character of a barbarian. I understand that despite all the depraved things that are in the game, I treat her as a living character. With her own personality, history, and thoughts.

For me - she is real.

I'm already going to be able to roll out new scenes as quickly as possible so that I finally have the space to clear up and reveal the character.
